The Hip Hop Hooray 5K Trail Run is scheduled for April 4, 2026 in Lockport, New York. Registration and race day logistics
Online registration is open until the race or until the event sells out. Early bird 5K registration is $30 through January 31, 2026, then $35. Packet pickup will take place at the winery on race day; a mail-in registration option is also available. Mail-in entries require two completed waivers and a check payable to iRunWNY, with paper applications received by April 2, 2026. The winery will be open and restrooms will be available. There is free parking on site.
On-course and post-race services
A water station will be located at the halfway point. Bottled water and light snacks will be provided to participants at the finish. All participants will receive a keepsake wine glass. Post-race food and drinks will be available for purchase at the winery. An adult Easter egg hunt at the winery is scheduled separately; admission details list a $30 fee that includes the hunt, complimentary tasting coins, live music, and a chance to win a Golden egg prize.
Timing, results and awards
Professional timing uses Jaguar Electronic RFID with timing services from Race Management Solutions. Live and archived results are available via mobile app, kiosks, online platforms, and onsite displays. Handcrafted trophies are awarded to overall male and female winners. Age group medals are given to the top three in each group: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older.
