Hip Hop Hooray 5K Trail Run

The Hip Hop Hooray 5K Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Spring Lake Winery in Lockport, New York. This will be the sixth annual edition of the event, organized by iRun WNY. The course is approximately 5K in length and takes place entirely on the winery's property. Participants will run on groomed trails and through the vineyards.

Packet pickup takes place at the winery from 9:00 AM on race day. Registration is priced at $30 with early bird pricing through January 31, 2026, increasing to $35 after that. Online registration remains open until the race starts or until it sells out.

All participants receive a free keepsake wine glass. A water station is located at the halfway point, and bottled water with light snacks are provided at the finish line. The winery will be open, with restrooms available and food and drinks for purchase. After the race, an optional Adult Easter Egg Hunt may be available for a separate admission fee.

Parking at Spring Lake Winery is free. The event features professional timing using RFID technology. Awards include handcrafted trophies for the first-place overall male and female finishers, and medals for the top three runners in multiple age groups. Run a scenic 3.2 mile loop through apple orchards and trails at Marjim Manor in winter. After the race, enjoy a celebration with snacks, a bonfire, and a custom wine glass. Professional timing ensures quick results.

A trail half marathon of 21.1 km and a 7 km trail race through historic parts of St. Catharines including the 12 Mile Creek Trail. Limited fields and a walker division that uses the same route.
