The Hip Hop Hooray 5K Trail Run is an annual event held at Spring Lake Winery in Lockport, New York. The course is approximately 5 km and takes place entirely on the winery property. Participants run through a scenic route consisting of groomed trails and paths through the local vineyards.

Course and Amenities

The trail features a water station located at the halfway point of the route. After the event, bottled water and light snacks are provided to all participants at the finish line. Results are tracked using an electronic RFID timing system, and runners can access their data and finish line photos through various digital platforms. The venue offers free parking and accessible restroom facilities for all attendees.

Awards and Recognition

Each participant receives a keepsake wine glass as part of their entry. Hand-crafted trophies are awarded to the first-place overall male and female finishers. Additionally, medals are presented to the top three runners in specific age categories, ranging from 19 and under to 70 and older.

A six hour run or walk on the Amherst Bike Path where participants cover as many laps as they choose. USATF certified half and full marathon options run concurrently and all finishers receive a medal.
