The Ghostly Gallop Trail 5K is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Milton, Vermont. The course uses the Laura’s Tears trail at Arrowhead Golf Course, 350 Murray Ave, Milton, VT 05468. The event has a Halloween theme and was previously known as "The Hills Are Alive."

Logistics and rules

Pre-registration is offered online; day-of registration will also be available. The pre-registration entry fee listed is $15, with a reduced fee for GMAA members. Sponsors listed include skirack.com and untapped.cc. Post-race refreshments will be provided. Facilities on site include two porta-potties and handwashing stations. Prizes will be awarded to the top male, female, and non-binary finishers overall, and additional prizes will be distributed by raffle. The event is open to runners age 12 and older; runners under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the race. GMAA/insurance rules prohibit running with a baby jogger or dog. Organizers strongly discourage the use of headphones and ask drivers to be aware of runners and spectators when entering and exiting the area.
