Entry, criteria and rules
The entry fee is £125. All runners must be at least 20 years old on race day. Entry accepts women, men, and nonbinary runners; initial place allocation aims to balance genders with separate allocations for women and men and an option to enter as nonbinary. To qualify entrants must have completed an ultramarathon, a trail marathon, or a road marathon after 1 January 2024 (road marathons must be under five hours unless completed at the end of an Ironman). Deferrals are only available for pregnancy or adoption. Refunds follow a 14 day cooling-off period, 50% refund up to 1 July 2026, and no refunds after that date. Mandatory kit includes an emergency foil blanket, waterproof jacket and trousers with taped seams, a head torch, and a charged mobile phone. External support and pacers are not allowed. Running poles are permitted from 7.5 miles (CP1 Beechtree) onwards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
