Helvetia 10k Mountain Run

Helvetia, United States • 14 Sep 2025

The Helvetia 10k Mountain Run is an annual trail race held in Helvetia, West Virginia, typically on the second full weekend of September. Now in its 26th year, the event celebrates the area's Swiss heritage by following portions of an original Swiss settlement trail through the heart of the mountain community. The course offers a challenging mountain run experience in southern Randolph County, coinciding with the local Helvetia Fair. Each year, the race shirt features a coat of arms from a different Swiss canton, adding a unique cultural touch. Runners can also participate in the Black-Hel Double by combining this race with the Blackwater Canyon Half Marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
