Haul Ass Ultra Running Festival : Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary, Erie, CO
The event is held at Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary near Erie, Colorado. The course is an off-road cross-country style loop with a mix of dirt, grass, and gravel. The layout is mostly flat and non-technical with approximately 200 feet of elevation gain and views of the Rocky Mountains.
There is one central aid station near the main race hub stocked with water and assorted fueling items. Packet and bib pickup are available both before race day at the sanctuary visitor center and on race day at the race director tent.
A portion of event proceeds will be donated to Luvin Arms to support care, shelter, and advocacy for rescued farmed animals. Participants will pass by sanctuary residents during laps, including horses, donkeys, pigs, peacocks, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cows, sheep, and goats.
