Course Details

All courses are 100% dirt trails. The event is described as having one of the fastest and flattest courses in Colorado, with very little elevation gain per loop. Runners have uninterrupted views of Barr Lake and the Colorado Front Range. The course is a loop that starts and finishes at the Nature Center. The 50K, 30K, and Half Marathon are multi-loop courses. The 15K is a single loop. The 5K is an out-and-back route. Each distance has a specified time limit, ranging from 6 to 9 hours. The event has a cupless initiative to minimize environmental impact.
