The HASHATHON 6-Mile Treacherous Trail Run is the 45th annual running of this trail event. It takes place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, and features a 6-mile trail course. The event is presented by the Jersey Shore Running Club.
Location and race-day details
The race is held at Cheesequake State Park, 300 Gordon Road, Matawan, NJ 07747 (Exit 120 off the Garden State Parkway, follow signs to the pavilion at the lake). Bib and shirt pickup is on race day at 9:30; there is no advance pickup. Regular entry for the listed event is $35 and includes a short-sleeve cotton shirt; the price increases after October 5, 2025. Race-day registration is $50 and a shirt is not guaranteed. Proceeds benefit Matawan/Aberdeen First Aid Squad and Bayshore EMS. Awards are given to the top three overall and to age-group winners for male and female categories, with additional fun awards, special raffles, and other prizes. A post-race party will offer free beer and pizza; ID is required for the beer garden and participants must be 21 or older. Soft drinks and other snacks will also be available.
