Harriman Trail Runs
The Harriman Trail Runs take place in Island Park, ID and include multiple trail distances that use the Boy's House east lawn as the start and finish area. Courses run through forest and meadows on gravel, two-track and pine-needle single track with views of the Teton Mountains and local valley. Runners may encounter wildlife, cattle, horseback riders and mountain bikers; participants should open and close small gates and yield to horses.
Distances for 2026:
- Venti: 50K / 30.6 mi
- Grande: 25K / 15.3 mi
- Tall: 10K / 6.4 mi
- Short: 1K / 0.6 mi Kids' Run
The event includes one on-course aid station plus a start/finish station. Aid station fare includes standard items such as water, sports drink, chips, cookies and fruit. The 10K visits the on-course station once, the 25K twice, and the 50K four times. This is a cupless event so participants must bring their own drinking vessel. A late breakfast or lunch is included with entry fees.
Parking and logistics note that a motor vehicle fee of seven dollars per day applies for vehicles entering the park. Registered runners receive a parking pass at check-in; some parking areas have little to no cell service. Camping is not available inside the park but nearby campgrounds, rentals and lodging are available around Island Park and Ashton.
Minors require parental and race director permission to participate. The event limits entries and may use a waitlist if distances fill. Refunds are available only under specific conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
