Distances offered:

  • 10k
  • 5k
  • Canicross
  • Children's fun run (multi-lap route around the field)

Courses are undulating and hilly with a mix of trail, tarmac, dirt and single tracks. Runners should expect uneven ground, mud, overhanging trees, holes and ruts; appropriate footwear is recommended. The course is waymarked with km markers, tape, signs, flags and marshals.

Entry is pre-registration only and closes 10pm on Sunday 3rd May. Age limits apply: participants must be 12 years or older for the 10k, and 7 years or older for the 5k. 5k entrants under 11 must be accompanied on the route by a responsible adult who has their own entry. Children of any age may take part in the children's event.

This is a cupless event; participants should bring their own cup or bottle. Facilities at the race HQ include toilets, first aid and parking on the sports field. Proceeds from the event support the Wherwell Playing Fields Association and Wherwell School PTA.

Dog running rules apply for canicross and dogs must meet specific safety and insurance conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
