Harbins Park Trail Run

The Harbins Park Trail Run takes place in Dacula, Georgia, within the Gwinnett County Parks system. Now in its 16th year, this event focuses on off-road running through a forested environment. The race is limited to 275 participants due to specific trail capacity and parking availability at the venue.

Participants can choose between two distinct distances:

  • 7.10 miles
  • 3.55 miles

The course consists of double-track trails approximately 5-7 feet wide, which allows for easier navigation and passing. For the longer distance, the GPS measurement is approximately 6.35 miles, while a calibrated bicycle computer records it at 7.10 miles. The shorter route measures approximately 3.11 miles via GPS and 3.55 miles via bicycle computer. Both courses follow the same path for the first 2.40 miles before splitting; at this junction, the long course continues straight while the short course makes a sharp left turn.

Registration includes a tri-blend shirt, though availability is only guaranteed for those who register before the late registration period. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in several age categories, ranging from under 14 to over 80. Recognition is also provided for Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters in both male and female divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
