The route is a single loop of about 51 miles on largely unmarked trails with roughly 5,000 feet of total ascent and descent. The course has no official markings; navigation tools are necessary.

The organizer notes the event is not virtual and must be completed on the event date within the same day. Ridewithgps and other route files such as GPX and Garmin courses are provided for planning and navigation. Registration closes on February 10, 2027.
