Grim Challenge
The GRIM Challenge is a winter trail event held on MOD property at the Army Tank Training Area, Fleet Road, Aldershot (Eelmore Vehicle Driving Circuit). The event offers two race distances:
- 4 miles
- 8 miles
The course runs across army vehicle testing ground and includes very muddy terrain and areas of deep water. The original event is known as GRIM Down South and has been organised for nearly 20 years. Final instructions for the current year will be updated by the organiser.
Race numbers are posted in November. Late number collection will be available from RACE HQ on Sunday December 1. There is no further timing information included here.
There are two car parks on site, both accessed from Fleet Road. Car Park 1 is near the main site entrance and Car Park 2 is near Rushmoor Arena. Both car parks have hard standing areas. Participants using Car Park 1 are asked to use only tarmac areas and avoid the grass. Each car park has a single entrance and exit; both are a five to ten minute walk from the start village and may experience short queues when entering or exiting.
