Green Eyes Gallop takes place on October 18, 2025, in Chickamauga, GA, at 100 Gordon St. The event is presented by Ridge & Valley Adventures as the 2nd Annual Green Eyes Gallop and is part of the Green Eyes Festival. Distances offered:
- 10K
- 5K
- Monster Mile
The 5K and 10K courses run through and around downtown Chickamauga and the new Chickamauga Wetlands Trail. The Monster Mile routes from downtown, loops around the Helicopter Park, and returns. All participants receive a Green Eyes swag bag. Podium prizes are planned for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K. Registration closes on October 16, 2025.
Festival and costume contest
The Green Eyes Festival features live music, craft vendors, and food. A costume contest is part of the event with divisions for Individual, Partner, Group (3 or more), and a Kid’s division for participants 12 and under. Prize types include dining gift certificates. Rules state that contestants must run or walk in their costume for the entire race to be eligible, groups and pairs must come to judging together, a team captain and team name are required for groups or pairs, race numbers must be visible, and contestants must be registered participants to win.
