Course and race services

Races start near the Covenant College campus on mostly single-track trails. The routes include a mix of climbs, runnable sections, and moderate descents. The 50 and 18 mile courses follow the same route for the 18-mile distance. The course passes two exposed bluff lines with extensive views; on a clear day it is possible to see five states from one section. The 50-mile course crosses or follows at least five creeks and goes through Lula Lake Land Trust areas with rhododendron, mixed hardwoods, hemlock forests, and the 120-foot Lula Falls. Aid stations are provided with warm food options and camp fires at night. The 10K begins with flat cross-country style trail segments before turning to narrower creekside trails with several steep climbs. Course maps are provided for both the 50/18 routes and the 10K.
