Event overview

Races take place at the Green Bank Science Center on the Green Bank Observatory campus. Courses pass fields, wooded single track, and site roads and provide views of observatory telescopes, including the Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope (GBT), described in the event text as the world's largest fully steerable single aperture antenna. A water station is located at the halfway point of the course. An awards ceremony and post-race grinds and fellowship conclude the afternoon.

  • 1K Gobble Wobble for children aged 8 and under with an obstacle course
