The Great Guernsey Trail 12Ks of Christmas is scheduled for December 13, 2025 in Lore City, Ohio at Leatherwood Park. The event is the 8th annual edition and includes timed races and a family fun run/walk. Proceeds support the Guernsey County Community Development Corp., a local 501(c)(3) organization. The event collects new unwrapped toys to donate to the Guernsey County Secret Santa; individuals who bring a toy are entered into a drawing for gift cards or cash. Timing services are provided by Muskingum Multiports.

All events are out-and-back routes held entirely on the paved trail. The route follows Leatherwood Creek and is traffic free. Water will be available at the turnarounds and finish. Food, hot chocolate, and warming stations will be provided at the finish line.
Entry, packets and awards
Entry fees are non-refundable; preregistration prices apply through December 12, 2025 with higher day-of rates. Race packets include a race-logo t-shirt and other items; participants registered by November 28 will receive a T-shirt. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall finishers in each race. Medals will be given to the top three in each listed age category, and finisher’s medals will be awarded to all participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
