Granite Mountain Grind

The Granite Mountain Grind is a trail ultra held in Prescott, Arizona on September 26, 2026. The event is organized by Dirty Goat Adventures and is presented as the only sanctioned ultra race in this area of Prescott.

The race centers on granite terrain that is described as rugged and technical. The 50K course includes rocky climbs, fast descents, and long stretches of singletrack among towers of boulders and juniper-studded landscapes. The course is intended to test technical footing and trail navigation.

This is a fully supported event. Support features include three fully stocked aid stations, two in-between water stations, a well marked course, and on course safety teams. Every participant receives a finisher medal. Awards are given to first, second, and third place finishers in both the male and female categories.

The inaugural 2026 running is limited to 100 runners to preserve the trail experience. The race director has more than 25 years of experience helping to set up and run races and has competed in multiple ultra events in Arizona. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
