Goat Rocks Stage is a 50-mile, two-day stage run in the Goat Rocks Wilderness, a premier alpine pocket of the Cascades nestled between Mount Rainier and Mount Adams. The course features narrow ridgelines, volcanic views and expansive alpine single-track with substantial elevation gain, designed for experienced runners who can handle multi-day, rugged terrain. Runners enjoy a moving basecamp experience, with nights at Walupt Lakes while Aspire coordinates camping, backcountry permits, shuttles and meals, plus a lively apres-run scene. The trip begins and ends in Packwood, WA, with shuttles between trailheads and a sample day covering about 20 miles from Angry Mountain to Snowgrass Flat.
