Course and logistics

The course uses steep, technical trails and remote terrain including sub-alpine ridges, valleys, streams, and waterfalls. Cispus Learning Center offers bunkhouses, showers, a kitchen, parking, and nearby car, tent, and RV camping. There is no formal shuttle service for the 100K; runners and crew must arrange their own transportation to Wright Meadow and Cispus. A rideshare spreadsheet will be provided.

Entry requirements and race rules

The 100 Miler is a Hardrock 100 qualifier and has formal qualification standards. Entrants must provide verifiable race results that meet one of the following: a 100+ mile trail race with at least 15,000 ft vertical gain (within five years), a 100 km trail race with at least 10,000 ft vertical gain (within three years), or two 50+ mile trail races with at least 7,000 ft vertical gain each (within three years). Alternately, applicants may submit GPX files and a letter for discretionary review. Pacers are allowed at specified aid stations and must check in, sign a waiver, wear a pacer bib, remain with the runner, and follow course rules. The 100 Miler requires documented completion of eight hours of volunteer service before race check-in. Registration closes August 20, 2026.
