Gladiator Challenge

Gladiator Challenge is a family adventure race held at Phipps Farm, 4300 North Meridian Rd, Tallahassee, Florida. Racers run and navigate over, under, through, and across a sequence of obstacles. The event also includes food trucks, carnival games, bounce houses, a dunk tank, face painting, and other festival activities.

Distances and categories:

• Junior Obstacle Course Race: less than 1/2 mile; ages 3 to 6; 5+ obstacles
• Youth Obstacle Course Race: 1.6 miles; grades K through 12; at least 13 obstacles
• 5K Obstacle Course Race: 3.2 miles; ages 16 and up permitted; 30+ obstacles

Registration opens on December 31, 2026 and closes on April 20, 2027. Entry fees listed by the organizer apply to each category. The organizer states there will be no race day registration and no race only option. Early race bag pick-up for non-Christ Classical Academy families is available the Friday before the event at Christ Classical Academy, 2205 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee. The first 400 registrants who sign up by March 31 receive a free t-shirt. Awards are presented after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
