Beyond Limits Adventure 5K & Fun Run
The event consists of two related activities held at 3025 School House Road, Tallahassee FL 32311. The main event is a 5K urban adventure race in which participants complete at least five challenges along the course. Challenges may include axe throwing with plastic axes, an army crawl, and other tasks testing dexterity and coordination. Participants may compete individually or as part of a two person team. Separate awards are given for teams and individuals by age group. Finisher medals are presented to all participants who complete the full course. Refreshments will be available after the race.
A shorter Fun Run/Walk/Roll takes place prior to the 5K. This is an untimed event on a course shorter than one mile around the Independence Landing complex. The fun run is described as suitable for all ages and abilities.
Registration details are provided for each event with specific opening and closing dates and fees. T shirts are available for an additional ten dollar fee. The organizer notes that accommodations can be requested during registration to support accessibility needs. After the events attendees may purchase meals at the IL Café, which offers made to order dishes prepared by residents as part of a workforce development program.
