Glacial Esker Trail Race

The Glacial Esker Trail Race is a timed endurance event held in Albion, Indiana. Participants run on a loop course, completing as many miles as possible within their selected time frame. The event is part of the Ignite Trail Series and takes place during the spring season.

The primary route consists of a 3.55 mile loop. A single aid station is positioned at the start and finish line to support runners throughout the event. For the majority of the race, only full loops are recorded toward the total mileage of the participant.

During the final 30 minutes of each timed event, a shorter secondary course is utilized. This segment is an 1/8 mile out and back route, allowing runners to accumulate additional mileage until their time expires.

The event offers several duration options:

  • 6 Hour trail race
  • 12 Hour trail race (morning start)
  • 12 Hour trail race (evening start)
  • 24 Hour trail race
