The Gingerbread Run takes place on 28 December 2025 at Uffcott Farm, Uffcott, Swindon, Wiltshire SN4 9NB. The event is organised by Wroughton Whippets Running Club. Entries open 10 November 2025 and close 26 December 2025. The entry fee is £12.00 and entries so far show 118 participants. There will be no on-the-day entries.
Course and facilities
The event is a 5 mile off-road run over farm tracks and fields with mud and some small undulating hills. The course is signed and marshalled. A water and prosecco station is located at the halfway point. First aid, toilets and refreshments are available. Hot soup, hot drinks and homemade cakes will be offered for donation. Parking is described as restricted. All profits from the event will go to Brighter Futures and the Lily Foundation. Participants receive an edible gingerbread medal and there are prizes for the winners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
