The FXBG Trail Half Marathon is the fifth and final event in the FXBG Trail Series. The race takes place on the reservoir trail system in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The course provides a full tour of the winding network surrounding the water, covering the entire trail system from start to finish.

The route consists of flowing singletrack with constant twists and turns. The terrain features rolling hills and changing scenery throughout the distance. Runners follow the shoreline and pass through various wooded sections. The course is designed as a loop that utilizes the full character of the reservoir’s undulating landscape.
