The Frostbite Trail Race takes place on 18 January 2026 at Lochore Meadows Country Park, Willie Clarke Centre, Crosshill, Fife (postcode KY5 8BA). The course is approximately 4 to 4.5 miles run as two laps on trails and woodland paths. Sections of the route can get muddy; trail shoes are recommended if ground conditions are wet. Every finisher will receive a race medal or memento. Total places are 110 and the entry fee is £11.00; a service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to each sign-up.

Logistics and rules

Number pick-up, car parking and toilets are at the Willie Clarke Centre. There are limited changing facilities; baggage may be left at the start/finish at the entrant’s own risk. The organiser cannot provide water; entrants must bring their own drinks. The centre cafe will be open for hot and cold food and drinks. Prizes include first three overall male and female, and first male and female in the Over 40, Over 50, Over 60 and Over 70 categories. Race results and event updates will be posted online and on the Nuts Trail Races Facebook page. The event is insured and permitted by the Association of Running Clubs and is held under ARC rules. No entry fee refunds or deferrals are offered; number transfers are allowed up to seven days before the race when arranged between runners and notified to the organiser.
