Frostbite Trail Race takes place on 18 January 2026 at Lochore Meadows Country Park, Crosshill, Fife (Race HQ at the Willie Clarke Centre, postcode KY5 8BA). The event is closed to new entries. Total places were limited to 180. Every finisher will receive a race medal or memento.

Course and facilities

The course is a two-lap route on trails and woodland paths, with a distance of around 4 to 4.5 miles. Sections of the route can become muddy; trail shoes are recommended if ground conditions are wet. Number pick-up, car parking and toilets are at the Willie Clarke Centre. There are limited changing facilities. Baggage may be left at the start/finish area at the entrant's own risk; valuables should be left in a vehicle or alternative arrangements made. The organiser does not provide water; entrants must bring their own drinks. The centre cafe will be open for food and drinks.

Competition, entries and results

Prizes are awarded to the first three overall male and female finishers and to first male and female in age categories Over 40, Over 50, Over 60 and Over 70. Entry fee was £11.00 (price listed until 23 December 2025). No refunds or deferrals are allowed; number transfers were permitted up to seven days before the race.
