Course, logistics and awards
The course is described as a flat 5K, 100% on trail with no cars. Water stations are provided at approximately every 1.5 miles. Packet pickup is available on race morning beginning one hour before the race.
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given to the Top 3 overall male and female, Top 3 masters male and female, Top 3 grand masters male and female, Top 3 senior grand masters male and female, and Top 3 in five-year age groups from 10 and under through 75+.
Virtual participants may run at any location, submit their time by the end of race day, and receive a virtual race package shipped the Monday after the event (shipping available to the continental US). Registration deadlines differ for in-person and virtual entries. All registrations are final; there are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
