The FootZone Dirty Half is a trail half marathon held in Bend, Oregon on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The course distance is 13.1 miles. The route begins with approximately a half mile on pavement before moving onto dirt roads and singletrack through National Forest land. Every finisher receives a finisher prize. Top three finishers in each division receive awards in these divisions: Men’s Overall, Women’s Overall, Men’s Masters, and Women’s Masters. Additional prizes will be distributed by raffle.

Logistics and policies

The race starts at the Unitarian Church, 61980 Skyline Ranch Road, Bend, OR. Packet pickup is scheduled at FootZone in downtown Bend on the days before the race; day-of packet pickup is also available. Registration pricing is tiered: early bird through December 12 ($75), regular through April 14 ($85), and late from April 15 through race day or until sold out ($95). Organizers note the event takes place on National Forest and acknowledge the U.S. Forest Service.

Volunteers are requested for race day. A GPX file of the 2025 course is noted as available with a minor change from 2024. The organizer’s refund policy states that refunds are not offered; in extreme conditions the race may be modified or canceled at the directors’ discretion and refunds will not be provided. Mastondon is a 10ish mile early season trail run near Bend, Oregon on March 1 2026, rolling through juniper and high desert with mountain views. Expect a relatively flat course, one aid station, and post race food and beer.

Run the Incline Vista trail race in Redmond, OR and climb to Cline Butte for sweeping views of the Cascades, Smith Rock and the Ochocos. Choose a challenging 20 Mile or a runnable 15K across new connecting trails and varied singletrack.
