Fire Trail Running Festival takes place at Guadalupe River State Park near Spring Branch, Texas on June 13, 2026. The event offers multiple trail distances and a ruck division over rocky and dirt single track through grasslands and woodlands.

The marked course uses Barred Owl, Painted Bunting, and Live Oak trails. Elevation is relatively flat with about 214 ft of gain per loop. The main aid station is located at the end of each loop (mile 5.2) and provides hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice and ice. The event is a no cup race; participants should bring a handheld water bottle or hydration vest and a water carrying system is required.
A headlamp is required for night sections unless running the 8K in a manner that does not require one. Ruck weight rules apply: participants over 150 lbs carry 30 lb while those under 150 lbs carry 20 lb. Ruck sacks or vests are allowed. Participants who drop must notify race staff at the start or finish area.
Park access requires a day pass and parking is allowed only in designated spaces. Campgrounds are 3 to 5 minutes from the start and list a fee of about $20 per night with restrooms and showers near sites. Volunteers support course setup and aid stations.
