The Fire Trail Running Festival is a night trail running event at Guadalupe River State Park near Spring Branch, TX. It takes place on trails through grasslands and woodlands inside the park.

The course runs on rocky and dirt single-track trails named Barred Owl, Painted Bunting, and Live Oak. The route is described as relatively flat with about 214 ft elevation gain per loop. Historic average temperatures for the event range from 75 to 90 degrees.
A headlamp is required for all participants. Races use an 8.5 hour cutoff. This is a no cup event, so participants must bring their own water carrying system. Packet pickup and a Texas Outlaw pop-up store are available before the race. The start and finish are at Guadalupe River State Park, 3350 Park Rd 31, Spring Branch, TX 78070.
The 8K RUCK has weight requirements: runners over 150 lb carry 30 lb, runners under 150 lb carry 20 lb. A ruck sack or vest is allowed. Race gear and awards include a soft shirt, collectible finisher medals, 50K inscription on medals for 50K finishers, first through third place awards by gender, DFL awards for the 50K, and a RUCK patch for ruck finishers.
