Fire Trail Running Festival takes place on June 13, 2026, at Guadalupe River State Park near San Antonio, in Spring Branch, TX. The event offers multiple trail distances that run through grassland and woodland terrain inside the park.
The course uses rocky and dirt single-track surfaces and follows named trails including Barred Owl, Painted Bunting, and Live Oak. Aid and logistics: the main aid station is located at the end of each loop (mile 5.2). Aid stations supply hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice, and ice. Drop bags may be placed near the start/finish area. All participants must carry a water system. A headlamp is required unless running a fast 8K. Ruck entrants follow weight rules: 30 lb if over 150 lb, 20 lb if under 150 lb; ruck sack or vest is allowed.
Other notes: park day passes are required, parking must be in designated spaces, and campground options are available nearby with restrooms and showers.
