Location, course and facilities
The race takes place in South Mountain Reservation, Maplewood, NJ, with the start area at the Summit Field picnic area. Rules and additional notes
All races must be completed on the event day and organizers may end a runner's race if they will not finish by the event cutoff. The 50-mile event has specific pacing and loop-departure requirements; runners who miss split time limits may not be permitted to continue. A headlamp is recommended for participants. A 50% refund is available until eight weeks before the race; after that no refunds. Bib transfers are allowed but the organizer must be notified with the new runner's information.
