Participants can pick up their race packets and register on-site on the day of the event from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM. Both the 5K and the Fun Run start at 9:00 AM, with the Fun Run covering the first mile of the 5K route. An awards presentation is scheduled for 10:00 AM. The 5K event uses chip timing for results.
The Course
The 5K course starts at the Fauquier Education Farm and follows a section of the Stafford Farm Trail, which is maintained by the Fauquier Equestrian Forum. The route includes stream crossings, wooded trails, and pathways along rolling fields and pastures. The course is described as having hills. It finishes back at the farm.
The Fun Run is approximately one mile long and features creek crossings, wooded trails, and hills, providing a shorter version of the 5K course.
After the race, participants are invited to rehydrate, have a snack, and tour the 10-acre farm, which includes a high tunnel and greenhouse.
Registration & Fees
Registration fees are as follows:
- 5K Run: $35.00 until May 16, 2026. The price increases to $40.00 from May 17 until race day.
- Fun Run: $25.00.
