FatShoe is a winter fat bike and snowshoe event held at Silver Star Mountain Resort, Vernon, BC on January 17, 2026. Registration opens April 1, 2025 and closes January 14, 2026. Early solo entry is listed at CAN $55 plus tax; the kids event fee is CAN $15 plus tax. Participants must supply their own fat bike and snowshoes; rentals are noted as available from local rental providers. Package pick-up and race staging take place at Silver Star Mountain Resort Parking Lot E; photo ID is required at pick-up.

Safety and race rules require carrying a minimum of 500 ml of water and emergency food, wearing a helmet while on or near a bike, and following course markings and marshal directions. Relay teams use a token exchange at the start/finish for transitions. Aid stations provide food, drinks, and minimal first aid; marshals and rescue staff can stop or remove participants for safety reasons.
