Farm & Forest All-Terrain 5K

The Farm & Forest All-Terrain 5K is an athletic event held at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center in Stamford, Connecticut. The event includes two distinct races on the property:

  • 3.1 Miles: An all-terrain 5K course.
  • 0.3 Miles: A kids fun run for participants ages 5 and up.

The 3.1 mile course begins at the Fedele Family Plaza. The route consists of a two-loop layout that passes through Heckscher Farm, where runners encounter various animals such as cows, horses, llamas, goats, and donkeys. The path continues around Bendel Pond and leads up to the Bendel Mansion, which features lion statues and an Italian Renaissance fountain. Participants also navigate wooded trails and cross Otter Bridge before returning through the farm area.

The Hog Wild Kids Fun Run offers a shorter 0.3 mile distance. This course also traverses the farm grounds, passing by resident animals including goats and a Scottish Highland cow.

Registration is available in advance, and same-day registration is also offered for the 5K event. Participation for the kids run is limited to a specific number of spots. The venue is located at 151 Scofieldtown Road. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
