Falls Creek Easter Fun Run is a community trail running event scheduled for Saturday 4 April 2026 at Falls Creek. The run is part of the Falls Creek Community Recovery Program and is jointly funded by State and Commonwealth governments in recognition of the Bogong High Plains Road landslip event. The start and finish location is Slalom Plaza. Entry fees listed are $25 for adults (13 and above), $15 for children (12 and under), and a $65 family pass (2 adults, 2 kids). Free entry is offered to Mt Beauty and Falls Creek residents under the recovery scheme.

Bib collection and on-site registration are scheduled for Friday 3 April 2026 (5:30-6:30pm at The Last Hoot) and Saturday 4 April (9:00-9:50am at Slalom Plaza).

Course and terrain

The course is a single trail of 5 km with approximately 151 m of elevation gain. The route begins at Slalom Plaza and uses a mix of ski runs, mountain bike tracks, boardwalks, a short road crossing, and grassy trails. Key route features include Wombat’s Ramble, the aqueduct, the Walking on Water trail, the Turbine MTB track, Pretty Valley Road, Broadway Ski Run and sections past water tanks before returning to the finish at Slalom Plaza.
