Falcon Trail Fest - September 26–27, 2026

Falcon Trail Fest is a two-day stage trail event produced by Trails of 'Toba Events and presented by Travel Manitoba, based at Falcon Ridge Ski Chalet near Falcon Lake in Whiteshell Provincial Park.

Distances offered

  • 8K (Saturday) - Classic Up & Down, 270 m vert
  • 16K (Saturday) - Classic Up & Down, 540 m vert
  • 28K (Sunday) - Better Half out-and-back, 620 m vert
  • 42K (Sunday) - Loop the Lake marathon, 592 m vert
  • Half Flight - 8K + 28K (36 km)
  • Full Flight - 16K + 42K (58 km)

Courses combine ski hill runs, granite slabs, rooty technical singletrack and lakeside trails, and feature the new onishkatoon gwaykaadiziwin trail on the east end of Falcon Lake. The event includes fully stocked aid stations and multiple course aid locations.

Participant notes: minimum age 18 unless parental permission for ages 15–18; no refunds after registration; bib transfers allowed through August 25, 2026; a Manitoba Park Pass is required for vehicles. Parking is limited. All entrants receive personalized bibs, performance shirts, finisher medals and a food voucher; Manitoba Association of Trail Runner members earn UTofMB points. A two day self supported trail run on the Mantario Trail in Whiteshell, Manitoba, covering 64 km with an overnight camp at Moosehead Lake. The event is unorganized and free, requiring full self reliance.
