F^3 Cap Sauers Trail Marathon & 10 Mile
The F^3 Cap Sauers Trail Marathon & 10 Mile takes place on May 9, 2026 at Teason's Woods in Palos Hills, Illinois (11200 S Willow Springs Rd).

Both courses use the Sag Valley Trail system and run on wide horse trail with little technical trail running. Two way traffic is common and horses are usually present on the course. The marathon route consists of two circuits of the 10 mile course followed by a final 10k out and back to the west aid station. Elevation gain is listed as about 1050 ft for the marathon and about 670 ft for the 10 mile.
Aid stations and timing checkpoints are placed at multiple turnaround points at approximately miles 2.9, 4.6, 7.8, 10, 12.9, 14.6, 17.8, 20, and 23.1. North station offers water and lemon lime Gatorade Endurance. West station offers water, Gatorade Endurance, UCAN gel, pickles, Pringles, gummi bears, almond butter, and a toilet. South station offers water and Gatorade Endurance. East station offers water, Gatorade Endurance, and a toilet. Porta potties are available at the east and west ends of the course.
Packet pickup is race day only and bibs are pre assigned and sorted alphabetically; each bib receives a hand colored unique design. All finishers receive a unique wooden finisher medal. Post race food includes chili and beer and there are age group awards for the 10 mile and awards for the marathon presented as finishers gather.
