Expo Park XC Runs take place on September 20, 2026 at South Moline Street and East Exposition Avenue in Aurora, Colorado. The event program includes youth and adult cross country races with distances arranged by age group.
Distances and target ages:
- 5k open to all ages, one 1k loop then two 2k loops
- 2k for ages 8 and under, single 2k loop, combined gender race
- 3k for ages 9 and 10, one 1k loop then one 2k loop, combined gender race
- 3k for ages 11 and 12, one 1k loop then one 2k loop, races may be split by gender
- 4k for ages 13 and 14, two 2k loops, combined gender race
Courses are almost entirely grass and are described as flattish but sometimes uneven, with small undulations. The route includes a small creek crossing and bale jumps.
