Exeter Half Marathon & Riverside 5

Exeter City Community Trust stages a weekend of road races across Saturday February 6 and Sunday February 7. The programme includes a two-lap half marathon and a separate Riverside 5 mile event that both use routes along Exeter's Quayside and through Riverside Valley Park.

• Half marathon: 13.1 miles (21.1 km), two laps
• Riverside 5 miles: 5 miles along the Quayside and Riverside Valley Park

The half marathon course begins from Piazza Terracina, Haven Road, and the 5 mile finish is located at Haven Banks. Both weekend events offer an extended maximum completion time of 3 hours 30 minutes and provide a bespoke finisher medal for participants. UKA licence status is mentioned and England Athletics members receive discounted entry for licensed events.

Race support includes water stations and medical assistance on course. Finish-area facilities commonly provided are toilets, a recovery area, a medical station, water, and a bag store. Results are published via Webscorer and organisers publish course materials such as a route map, mile markers, a certificate of course accuracy, and marshal point information.

Charity places are available with a minimum fundraising pledge of £80 for the Riverside 5 and £200 for the half marathon, excluding gift aid. Team Exeter City Community Trust charity entrants receive a technical running top, a fundraising pack, online training materials, post-event hospitality, and coordinated course marshal support.
