The Estrella Mountain Trail Fest takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Goodyear, AZ at Estrella Mountain Regional Park. The event program includes the following races:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- 10K / 5K Challenge
Entry fees listed for 2025 are $65 for the Half Marathon, $55 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $65 for the 10K / 5K Challenge. Due to construction at Estrella Regional Park, routes have been adjusted and start/finish locations use the Desert Rose Trail Head and the Estrella Mountain competitor track.
Course, logistics and awards
All courses are trail runs that travel through and around the Estrella Mountain Regional Park and include scenic views of the surrounding mountains. Water and hydration stations are provided along the courses; the 5K has a hydration station near mile 2. The Half Marathon has a 4-hour time limit.
All finishers receive a finisher medal and a finisher shirt. Additional items noted for 2025 include hooded long sleeves for Half Marathon and Challenge entrants and a running hat for 10K entrants. Half Marathon, 10K and Challenge finishers have access to a VIP area with cold drinks, fruit and snacks. The finish line will offer water, Gatorade, fruit, snacks and music.
Awards include overall top three male and female for each race. Age-group awards are specified by standard brackets from 19 and under through 60 and over. The 10K/5K Challenge awards top male and female. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
