Epping Forest Wildwood Trail Series Half Marathon & 10K

The Epping Forest Wildwood Trail Series takes place on 10 October 2026 in Epping Forest, London, with event hub at Chingford Plain. The event offers two distance options and uses mainly woodland trails within the ancient forest.

  • Half Marathon : 2 laps
  • 10K : 1 lap

The course is fully marked and supported with aid stations, marshals on route, chip timing, online results, and event photography. Participants receive a finisher's medal. Entry pricing is listed for the half marathon and the 10K, including early bird rates and club discounts.

Organisers describe the event as eco friendly: recycled and biodegradable materials are used for signage and the race arch, water stations are plastic free with an option to use a reusable cup, low-carbon energy sources are used, and routes are planned to minimise impact on wildlife and habitats. Sustainable travel is encouraged and parking in the forest is limited; Chingford Station is within easy walking distance of the event hub.

Participation notes include minimum age 17 for the half marathon, no age limit for the 10K with participants aged 14 or younger required to run with an adult, and that dogs and push buggies are not permitted. Volunteering opportunities are available with event rewards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
