Peace Officer Memorial Endurance Ruck

The Peace Officer Memorial Endurance Ruck is an annual rucking event held at Harbour Shores Church, 8011 E 216th St, Cicero, IN. The course is a mostly unpaved 1 mile loop that allows each participant to pass the start and finish repeatedly on a closed course.

Available event formats include:

  • 4 Hour Endurance Ruck - total distance covered in four hours on a closed course.
  • 5k Trail Ruck - three 1 mile laps, which is just under 5k.

Participants are expected to bring their own rucksack loaded to 10 percent of their body weight for the duration of the event. The event layout provides space for team support; each registrant receives an area to set up a canopy or chairs and room for coolers and personal items. The event welcomes a range of ages, with numerous participants as young as 5.

Registration uses tiered pricing with early and late registration periods and fees that vary by event option and date. The course is mostly unpaved and repeats a short loop to accommodate endurance pacing and regular access to team support areas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
