8-Hour Dream Endurance Race
Indianapolis, United States • 19 Jul 2025
The 8-Hour Dream Endurance Race, held at Butler University's historic Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, is Central Indiana's largest endurance running event. Participants have eight hours to run, walk, or stroll as far as possible on two looped courses: a 5K long course and a 1.91-mile short course, both featuring the challenging Bulldog's Revenge hill. The event offers solo, team (3-4 or 5-6 members), and specialty team divisions for nonprofit running clubs and fitness organizations. Concurrently, the Cat Nap 5K allows family and friends to join the first loop. The race atmosphere resembles a running tailgate, culminating in a lively post-race party with music, food, and a beer garden. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
