El Jefe 100 is a point to point trail race held April 3 to April 4, 2027, near Superior, Arizona. The course covers 105 miles and runs almost entirely on remote singletrack through Sonoran Desert landscape. Saguaros, palo verde, and mesquite form a scrubby green canopy along much of the route.

Course specifics include a total elevation gain of 12,548' and elevation loss of 13,910'. There are six aid stations positioned along the course and a 36 hour cutoff to complete the route. The entire route is located on National Forest Lands.
