ECT 50% Half Marathon

ECT 50% Half Marathon is a 21-kilometer trail race in Flatrock, Newfoundland, running from Flatrock to Red Cliff along Father Troy’s Trail, Silver Mine Head Path and Cobbler’s Path. It gives a sampling of the East Coast Trail Ultramarathon experience, inviting runners to balance speed and endurance on rugged coastal terrain. The event is rain-or-shine, with participants expected to manage their own kit and nutrition; aid stations at Middle Cove Beach provide water and sports drinks, and crew support is encouraged.

Runners must carry a cell phone and a whistle. The race is presented by The East Coast Trail Association, The Outfitters, Train 4 Trails, and insured by CARA. Strava clubs connect participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
