East Devon Round Recce Runs

Axminster, United Kingdom • 11-4 Jan-Apr 2026

Event overview

Guided, social recce runs cover different sections of the East Devon Round Ultra route in early 2026. Runs are led by experienced members of the Ruby Red Running team and will include the new East Devon Round Quarter route, a 25km option. Participation is free for people already entered into the East Devon Round 2026; others are asked to pay a £3 donation on the day. GPX routes are listed as coming soon.

The recce runs are open to people aged 18 years or older. Three qualified guides will be available and groups can be adjusted by ability during each run. Organisers will create WhatsApp groups for registrants to arrange lift shares, meeting points and transport. All recce runs will be based near Honiton or Axminster to allow easy train links. The pace will vary with weather, ground conditions and group members, and organisers state they will not leave anyone behind. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
