Durango Brewers Trail Series

The Durango Brewers Trail Series is a three-race summer trail running series in Durango that pairs trail races with local breweries. Races are professionally timed by Black Bear Events & Timing. Each brewery selects a local nonprofit beneficiary so race proceeds support community organizations.

Courses are on well-marked trails and range from shorter evening trail runs to longer scenic routes. Post-race celebrations are held at the partner breweries and include awards and an afterparty with a free beer for attendees aged 21 and over. There is a points competition across the series and overall series champions are recognized at the final post-race celebration.

Distances and 2026 race notes:

  • Ska Brewing Kickoff, Twin Buttes, 10K
  • Anarchy Brewing, Horse Gulch, 5 miles
  • Trestle Brewing, July 30, course coming soon

Registration options and series perks are organized by event: single-race registrants receive a custom race pint glass, and full-series registrants collect all three pint glasses plus an exclusive series shirt. Awards are given at each race, and points from individual races contribute to overall series standings. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
