Durango Brewer's Trail Series

The Durango Brewer's Trail Series is a three-race trail running series in Durango, Colorado held during July 2026. Each race is hosted in partnership with a local brewery and supports a local nonprofit chosen by the partner brewery.

Races are professionally timed by Black Bear Events & Timing. Courses range from 5K to 10K and use well-marked trail routes at local trailheads including Horse Gulch, Twin Buttes, and Test Tracks / Overend Mountain Park Trails. Runners are expected to be self supported and to bring a water bottle; water and electrolyte drinks are available at the finish for refills.

Post-race activities take place at the host breweries and include awards, an afterparty, and in some cases live music. Participants aged 21 and over are offered a complimentary beer at the afterparty. Series registration options include single-race entry and full-series entry; published fees list $30 for a single race and $75 for the full series. Full-series registrants receive series-specific apparel and collectors' pint glasses; single-race registrants receive a custom race pint glass.
