Dirty Turtle 25/50k takes place May 16, 2026 at Green Mountain Horse Camp near Bremerton, WA. The event offers multiple distance options and trail terrain around Green Mountain with summit and ridge views.
The course is approximately 75% singletrack and 25% dirt and gravel service roads. The 50K route includes about 7,000 to 8,000 feet of elevation gain on rough trails. Trails will be marked with surveyor's ribbon and bright yellow signs at critical intersections.
Aid stations will provide a selection of foods such as chips, quesadillas, guacamole, watermelon, potatoes, and other sweet items. Expect friendly volunteers and the possibility of PBR at aid stations. This is a cupless event; participants should bring their own hydration system such as a hydration bladder.
A 25k ruck option requires participants to wear a rucksack or backpack weighing between 20 and 30 pounds not including water, food, or other consumables. All ruck finishers will receive a Dirty Turtle 2025 Rucking Patch and a GORUCK Official Rucking Division Patch. The event is recognized as a GORUCK Official Rucking Division for the third year.
Camping is available Friday through Sunday at Green Mountain Horse Camp. Vault toilets are available but there is no potable water or showers. Campsites are first come, first serve; some pull-thru sites and space for tents, dirtbag rigs, and small campers are typically available.
Merchandise such as hoodies and Patagonia tech t shirts may be pre-ordered during registration until April 1. A limited number of extras may be sold on race day first come, first serve. Registration closes May 9 at 11:59 PM PT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
