Dirty Turtle 25/50k

Bremerton, United States • 16 May 2026

About the Race

The Dirty Turtle 25/50k takes place on trails around Green Mountain Horse Camp in Bremerton, Washington. The event offers a 50K, 25K, and a 25k Ruck option.

The Course

The course consists of 75% singletrack and 25% dirt or gravel service roads. The 50K distance features an elevation gain of 7,000 to 8,000 feet on rough trails. Both the 25K and 50K routes provide views from the summit and ridges of Green Mountain. The course is marked with surveyor's ribbon and signs at intersections.

Post-Race and Aid Stations

A food truck will be on-site after the race. Participants are encouraged to bring a chair and their own beverages. Aid stations will offer chips, quesadillas, guacamole, watermelon, potatoes, and other snacks. The event is a cupless race, so participants must bring their own hydration bladder or bottle.

Ruck Option

The 25k ruck option requires participants to wear a rucksack weighing between 20 and 30 pounds (not including water or food). All ruck finishers receive a Dirty Turtle rucking patch and a GORUCK Official Rucking Division patch.

Camping

Camping is available at Green Mountain Horse Camp from Friday through Sunday. The campground has vault toilets but no potable water or showers. Campsites are first-come, first-served and accommodate tents and small campers.

Merchandise

Hoodies and Patagonia tech t-shirts can be pre-ordered during registration until April 1. A limited supply may be available for purchase on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
