Dirty Feet Trail Run #3 - Vernon, BC
This trail running event is held at Kalamalka Provincial Park at Jade/Juniper Bay (Yellow Gate) on Kidston Road in Coldstream, BC. Three distances are offered:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21 km
All distances start and finish at the beach. Trails include single track, sections of double track for passing, gravel paths, rocks, roots, creeks and small bridges. The finish area is on the beach at Kal Lake, providing lake access for a swim after the run. The course is professionally marked and the event provides timing and first aid. Course maps are available on Strava.
Aid station provisions differ by distance: the 5 km course has no on-course aid stations but a stocked finish area; the 10 km course has one aid station around 7.5 km; the 21 km course has two aid stations around 7.8 km and 18 km plus supplies at the finish. Race merchandise will be sold on site and multiple payment methods are accepted. Optional participant medals are available for advance purchase or on race day.
Entry fees range from CAD 40 to CAD 65 depending on distance and change on specified dates. There are prizes for the top three in each category and draw prizes for participants. Registrations are non refundable but may be transferred to another 2026 event if requested at least two weeks before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
