Dirty Feet Trail Run #3 at Kalamalka Provincial Park

This trail running event takes place at Kalamalka Provincial Park with all distances starting and finishing at the beach. Three course options are available:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • 21 km

Trails include a mix of single track and gravel paths. Course surfaces feature rocks, roots, dirt, creek crossings and bridges. Some sections use double track to allow passing, while a significant portion remains single track. The course is professionally marked, and the event provides timing and first aid.

The route overlooks Kalamalka Lake and the Okanagan Valley. The finish area is on a beach at the lake, providing a place to cool off after the run. Organizers note that July conditions can be warm.

Aid station details: the 5 km has no on-course aid station but the finish area is stocked with water, electrolyte drink and snacks. The 10 km has one aid station at about 7.5 km. The 21 km has two aid stations at about 7.8 km and 18 km, plus the finish area.

Other event notes: race merchandise will be available for purchase and optional participant medals can be bought in advance or on race day. Race packages may be picked up in Vernon on the two days before the event or on race morning. Prizes are awarded to the top three in each category and there will be draw prizes.
