DINO Trail Run - DePauw Nature Park

The DINO Trail Run returns to DePauw Nature Park in Greencastle, Indiana. The event takes place on a course that features views of the local rock quarry cliffs. The terrain consists primarily of crushed stone surfaces, which remains a stable running surface even during wet springtime conditions.

Participants can choose from several event distances:

  • 15k Trail Run
  • 5k Trail Run
  • Kids Race

The course layout is characterized by mostly mild grades throughout the route. However, runners will encounter a few steep sections featuring vertical climbs ranging between 50 and 100 feet. The event is part of a larger regional series, with registration options available for individual races or season passes.

The venue is located at DePauw Nature Park, situated at 1400 W County Road 125 S. Due to the crushed stone composition of the trails, the paths are accessible for those transitioning from road running to trail environments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
