Griffin 10K Trail Run

The Griffin 10K Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday August 1, 2026 at Griffin Bike Park (10700 Bono Rd, Terre Haute, IN). The course is a two-lap route around Stryker Lake covering 10 km. Terrain is described as moderate with generally stable footing and rolling hills. Much of the route is wide enough to allow passing and lapping other runners. Camping is available at Fowler Park.

Registration is handled online and prices increase prior to the event; standard pricing is listed as $30 through online close with a $40 increase afterward. The race functions as a bonus event in the Indiana Trail Run series, offering up to 10 bonus points: all finishers receive at least 1 point, a finish in the top 10% of men or women earns 10 points, a finish in the 80 to 90 percent band earns 9 points, and the distribution continues down to 1 point for the bottom 10 percent. Age groups are defined separately for men and women, and medals are awarded to the overall top three in each distance and to top three finishers in age categories; door prizes are also presented at the awards ceremony. Race rules include visible race numbers, following the marked trail, courtesy when passing, no headphones or dogs, and notifying organizers if a runner withdraws. There is no strict time limit but runners taking longer than 2 1/4 hours may miss awards and experience limited services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
