Griffin 10K Trail Run

The Griffin 10K Trail Run takes place on August 1, 2026 at Griffin Bike Park, Terre Haute, Indiana. The course is a two lap route around Stryker Lake with rolling hills and generally stable footing. Much of the route is wide enough for passing or lapping other runners.

Length: 10k. Difficulty is rated Hills 2 / Surface 2 (1=easy, 5=difficult).

This race is held simultaneously with the DINO Gravel Triathlon. Online registration closes the Wednesday prior to the event at 12:00am; onsite registration is available. Pricing is $30 through online close and $40 race day.

Bonus points are awarded as part of the trail run series. All finishers in a bonus race receive at least one point. A finish in the top 10 percent of men or women earns 10 points; a finish in the 80 to 90 percent band earns 9 points; the distribution continues so that the bottom 10 percent of finishers earn 1 point.

Race day rules include displaying the race number on the front, following marked trails, courteous communication when passing, and prohibition of headphones and dogs. Runners who drop out should notify staff at the finish area. There is no strict time limit but participants taking longer than 2 1/4 hours may miss awards and experience limited services.

Maps and distance data are subject to the limitations and accuracy of the mapping apps used; participants should follow course markings on race day.

Awards: medals for the overall top three in each distance and for top three in each age category; door prizes awarded at the ceremony.
