OPSF5050 is a trail running event held in Owen-Putnam State Forest near Poland, IN (4850 Fishcreek Rd). Distances offered include:

The event is organized by the Indiana Trail Running Association (ITRA). Spring weather in the area can be variable; past seasons have included sleet and snow as well as warm, dry conditions.
Course and race format
The trail network begins at Horse Campground and the primary route is a lollipop-shaped loop. The course is about 90% single track and horse trails with some sections of fire road. Trails feature rolling hills and some more technical or steep sections. The 14-mile and 10K races use a single loop; the 50K and 50-mile races use multiple circuits of the lollipop route.
Logistics and services
This is a CUPLESS event: runners must be able to carry 20 oz of water on their person at all times because no cups are provided at aid stations. Registration cost varies by distance; only credit cards are accepted. Registration closes on Sat, Mar 21 at 11:59 PM ET. Parking and shuttle arrangements differ by distance: 50M/50K participants park at Horse Campground, while 14-mile and 10K participants are shuttled from the Owen County Family YMCA. Camping at Horse Campground is available for a fee and is on a first-come basis with limited sites.
